Football Development
Starting from Primary One, professional football coaches conduct lessons during PE classes. In the first term, four lessons introduce basic skills, and students with potential are selected for advanced training in the second term. Students who perform well are then invited to join the school football team.
Each year, players are selected through inter-class football matches (from Primary One to Six), coach observations during PE lessons, and teacher recommendations. Selected students receive systematic training to strengthen their techniques and teamwork.
Our school’s football teams actively participate in various competitions, providing students with opportunities to shine. In recent years, both the boys’ and girls’ teams have consistently ranked among the top three in the North District Inter-School Football Competition. They have also won numerous awards in the joint-school football tournaments across all divisions — Junior (P.1–2), Intermediate (P.3–4), and Senior (P.5–6). The girls’ team has even earned top honours in the Hong Kong Inter-Primary Schools Football Competition.
- Overseas Exchanges and Competitions
Outstanding players from our boys’ and girls’ football teams are selected to join the Joint School Football Team, receiving advanced training from the Arsenal Football Club (Hong Kong). Each year, students take part in two overseas exchange tours and competitions, with past destinations including Guangzhou Evergrande Football Club, Japan, Vietnam, and Singapore. The team also plans to join a training tour at Arsenal in the United Kingdom.
Rope skipping development
- Training from an early age
An expert (professional rope skipping coach) is arranged to teach rope skipping to our P.2 students in the normal PE lessons. The expert teaches basic rope skipping skills in 6 lessons in the 1st term and selects potential students to participate in the 2nd term's professional training. Students who have outstanding performance in the 12 lessons of the 2nd term will then be invited to join the rope skipping team.
English rope skipping class: every Wednesday after class
Rope Skipping Beginner Class (P.1): every Thursday after class
Rope skipping Intermediate Class (P.2-P.3): every Saturday morning
Rope Skipping Senior Class (P.4-P.6): every Saturday morning
Every year, potential students are selected to join the school team through recommendations from the P.2 In-class rope skipping expert, interest class coaches and PE teachers. Potential students are invited to join the team and receive systematic training.
The school's rope skipping team has participated in the 18 Districts Rope Skipping Competitions and the Heung To Cup and have won multiple awards.
- Overseas exchanges and performances
Students with outstanding performance in our school's rope skipping team will be invited to go to our sister schools in Hangzhou and Zhengzhou for exchanges and performances.
