To nurture responsibility and participation: Help students understand their rights and obligations as members of society and the nation, and encourage active participation in social affairs to contribute to the well-being of the country and the world.

To promote personal growth: Guide students to understand themselves, recognise personal development and future planning, and establish positive values.

School-based Curriculum

Our school’s Civic Education curriculum focuses on six key areas: Personal Growth and Healthy Living, Family Life, School Life, Social Life, Community Life, and National Life. These areas are systematically designed to align with students’ developmental needs at different learning stages, covering aspects of the individual, family, community, society, national identity, and global citizenship. Students learn through a variety of approaches, such as using real-life situations as learning contexts, engaging in group discussions, taking part in experiential learning activities (including service learning and visits), attending talks conducted by external organisations, and participating in drama performances. Through these experiences, students develop positive values, good character, and an active, positive attitude towards life.
