30 of our English Ambassadors and Language Ambassadors took part in the “Sister School Programme – Guangzhou Study and Exchange Tour” with our teachers on 17th and 18th June 2026. On the first day, they visited our sister school for an exchange learning activity. The theme was “Voices of the Same Root - Young People in the Greater Bay Area. Bilingual Cultural Festival of Intangible Cultural Heritage.” The teachers and students of the host school thoughtfully prepared a variety of programmes for our students. Our students performed English mini-dramas about some traditional Chinese stories, presenting the beauty of Chinese culture through the English language. The students from both schools engaged in English interactions about traditional culture and campus life, building understanding and friendship and experiencing the unique charm of language as a cultural bridge. On the second day, the teachers and students visited the Guangdong Science Centre. They enjoyed a range of interactive science exhibits and hands-on activities, experiencing the appeal of cutting-edge technology. The tour combined language learning, cultural exchange and science exploration. It enhanced the students’ English communication skills, fostered new friendships and provided them with an unforgettable learning experience.
