Reading Day and National Reading Week
2026-04-25 To 08-31
Category : Library
The annual Reading Day was a great success. We invited a STEM comic book author to share his insights, and our students were engaged, actively discussing their favorite characters from the books. Also, many students ‘brought to life’ their favourite book characters and acted out storylines using costumes, props and dialogues. Everyone read themed books in both Chinese and English. There was a vibrant reading atmosphere. We also participated in the Education Bureau ‘National Reading Week’, reading for half an hour with over a thousand teachers and students from across Hong Kong at the Kai Tak Sports Park main stadium, jointly setting a Guinness World Record for the ‘Largest Multimodal Reading Class’, witnessing the power of reading!
