We are pleased to announce that P.5 CHEUNG TSUN YU JIMMY has achieved marvelous results in the Reading Contract 2019/20 (Phase 3) and received a certificate and book coupons.  A series of student award schemes organized by HKEdCity are in progress. Standard Chartered Arts in the Park is the largest outdoor youth art event and puppet parade in Hong Kong every year. It aims to help young people develop valuable skills through art and provide diversified art education activities.

The launching ceremony of the "Parent Education in Primary Schools" Project was held on 31st October, 2020 at the Hong Kong Specialist College of Medicine, and was officiated by Professor Sophia Chan Siu-chee, JP, Secretary for Food and Health. The project aims to help parents understand the needs and challenges of children's emotional and social development stages, learn different discipline and coping skills, and enhance parents' ability and confidence in parent-child relationships, so as to overcome the difficulties encountered by their children in their growth. It is hoped that parents and their children can establish a positive and dependable family relationship to prepare children for a successful and happy life.

Students celebrated Halloween by wearing funny costumes and going trick-or-treating at school. They also recited some Halloween chants and watched some Halloween videos during English lessons. Most of our students dressed up for the Best Costume Competition. What a joyous day!

Congratulations to P3 Lee Hui Long for receiving a Merit in the Big Smile Drawing Competition during the summer holiday. His drawing was also awarded the "Most Popular Award" as he received approximately 800 votes on social media. We hope that all our students will continue to participate in all kinds of activities and competitions to broaden their horizons and develop their potential.

Congratulations to one of our 19-20 graduates CHEUNG Tsun Hei who won the gold award in the "Draw my watch” design competition during the summer holiday. We highly recommend our students to enrich their experience and seize opportunities to participate in all kinds of competitions and activities in order to broaden their horizons and develop their potential.

In 2019, the school participated in the 13th HKQAA "My Dream Home” Photo Contest. We were awarded the "Most Active School Participation Award". The school would like to thank our students for their dedication and we appreciate all the photos very much. We hope they will continue to enjoy the fun of photography.

1st September was the first day of the new academic year. Our students participated in the opening ceremony in a special way. This year we met one another online using Zoom. We hope that in the new school year our students will not only learn new knowledge, but also more fully develop their personal strengths.

The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups organized a “New Media Teaching Plan Competition” for Primary and Secondary School teachers with sponsorship from the Quality Education Fund to encourage teachers to create new media teaching plans, to share their ideas with one another, to promote the development of new media education, and to enrich teaching resources. Our teacher Ms Leung Pui Sze joined the competition and was awarded a Silver Award in the primary school category with her teaching plan design “Rumor Terminator”.

We are pleased to announce that P4 Siu Chi Pang has achieved marvelous results in the Chinese Master 2019/20 (Phase 2 Junior Level) and received a certificate and book coupons. "Tell-a-Tale" Children's Storytelling Competition requires participants to read stories aloud in three languages (English, Cantonese and Putonghua). Six students who were chosen to represent our school reached the qualifier round of the competition. The students are P2 CHOW JEFF MYRON and LING CHEUK HAN MICHELLE; P4 CHEN RAINY, P4 ZHOU TSZ YIU SELINA; P6 BAI YUHAN and LIN SZE MAN. However, some of them could not participate in this round due to the pandemic. For the final round, P2 LING CHEUK HAN MICHELLE won the third prize in category 1 and P3 CHEN RAINY won the second prize in category 2. We appreciate all the participants' efforts, and we also congratulate all the award-winning students!

Congratulations to one of our P3 students Ge Yap Ely for winning the merit award in the 14th Daily Readers 'Read Out Loud' Competition (Junior Primary Sections). Although this was her first time to enter this competition, her performance was outstanding. Well done, Ely!

Here we can see students going to the school library to choose books for the Read to Dream Programme. They were all so enthusiastic to find books they truly enjoy!
