The 72^nd Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival (2020) was held in November. Our school were awarded 3 champions, 5 1^st runner-ups, 7 2^nd runner-ups, 111 merits and 14 certificates of proficiency. Our students worked really hard even during the pandemic. A huge thank-you to the teachers for their guidance to all participating students, and the support from the parents. Congratulations to all the students who overcame all the challenges and completed the competition.

The purpose of this activity is to promote good citizenship to primary school students in the North District and promote a message of respect, tolerance and responsibility. The 16th Primary School Student Chinese and English On-site Writing Competition took place on November 22, 2020. The competition is organized by Tai Po Sam Yuk Secondary School. The main purpose is to increase the interest of primary school students in both Chinese and English writing.

This year, nine students won the Merit Award and 1 student received the Proficiency Award in the Chinese writing; while in the English writing, 1 student received the Superior Merit Award and 6 students received the Proficiency Award.

Congratulations to our prize winners. The school takes this opportunity to share this joy with all our students and parents, and encourages all students to actively participate in different types of activities or competitions to develop their strengths.

The primary 3 students participated in the "Reading for Integrity" Project. Among them, five students' works were selected as outstanding works and will be exhibited online together with the other selected works. The students whose works will be exhibited are MA ASHLEY, LIU ZEXI, LIU HOI LAM, LIAO YEUK ON and CHAU HO LEI.

1st September was the first day of the new academic year. Our students participated in the opening ceremony in a special way. This year we met one another online using Zoom. We hope that in the new school year our students will not only learn new knowledge, but also more fully develop their personal strengths.
